Packaging
Order packaging and handling is always free.
Flexible track is packaged in sturdy mailing tubes with appropriate internal protection. These tubes can also accommodate small accompanying items which are also packed with appropriate internal protection.
Items like PECO ST-411 setrack double straight (4-pack) and PECO ST-401 Standard Straight (8-pack) are sold by Peco in plastic and card packs that do not fit into the sturdy. If these items are purchased with flexible track their factory pack will be trimmed to fit the mailing tube without harming the track or reducing their protection.
Orders without flexible track, including the above mentioned packs, are packaged in sturdy mailing boxes with appropriate internal protection.
Orders with guidebooks only are packaged in a padded envelope and a cardboard stiffener. Nonetheless NGMRSC cannot ensure that such envelopes will not be bent during delivery.
Shipping rates
Shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout according to customer location (Canada or USA), preferred delivery option, and the order subtotal.
Shipping to Canada - rates in Canadian dollars
Standard (3 to 9 business days) for orders $150 Canadian or more: FREE
Standard (3 to 9 business days) for orders under $150 Canadian: $15.00
Express (1 to 2 business days) for orders $150 Canadian or more: $10.00
Express (1 to 2 business days) for orders under $150 Canadian: $30.00
Local two-day delivery to Ottawa or Gatineau is available free for orders over $50.00 Canadian.
Canadian customers will be charged the provincial and/or federal sales taxes according to their address.
Shipping to USA - rates in US dollars
Standard (4 to 8 business days) for orders $200 US or more: FREE
Standard (4 to 8 business days) for orders under $200 US: $30.00
Express (2 to 3 business days) for orders $200 US or more: $25.00
Express (2 to 3 business days) for orders under $200 US: $45.00
US customers will not be charged any Canadian sales taxes.
US customers are now required to pay tariffs or other charges on imported goods that are not made in the US, regardless of the value. PECO products are made in the United Kingdom and may incur a 10% tariff. Micro Engineering Company products are made in the US and incur no tariff. All such fees are calculated item by item and charged at check-out.
Handling time
Orders are normally packed and shipped the next business day. Customers will receive tracking information by email once orders are shipped.
